More than a hundred of people gathered Thursday in front of the ruins of the former Chinese embassy in Belgrade, Serbia, destroyed in the Kosovo War 10 years ago to commemorate the three Chinese killed by a NATO bombing.
Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Wei Jinghua and mayor of Belgrade, Dragan Dilas attended the ceremony and jointly placed a wreath outside the fense.
The NATO jets struck the Chinese embassy in Belgrade in a plotted raid on May 7, 1999, killing three Chinese people and injuring 20.
